The Vasthra series, has a collection of organic looking cloth simulations. Pieces of textured surfaces with illustrative elements and motifs are made to twist and twirl by turbulent vortexes within the work environment of the software. These accurate physics simulations make these pieces look realistic

Process

This was more of a dynamics project that involved art directing cloth simulations and particular trails within the software. The goal was to create a vibrant series of renders and abstract motion pieces that brought traditional Indian garments and popularly worn apparel such as Sarees or Kurtas to life. These are more than just plain long sheets of fabric with intriguing and patiently embroidered designs. Most design and motifs are designed and stitched with purpose. Every collection has illustrations and renders that visually tell stories.
